Travelling or going on holiday?

I'm excited, Again. Tomorrow morning Lovejoy and I fly to Mexico for two weeks. Oh yeah. However, according to some this is not travelling this is going on holiday. Is there a difference? Do I need to be away for months at a time with just a backpack to be classed as travelling? ? I don't know and I don't care. I have always wanted to go to Mexico. Also yes we are going all inclusive, aargh no I hear you cry. Will it be Benidorm in the Caribbean ? I don't care. I have never been all inclusive and I have never been to Mexico and I am not a travelling snob. It's all a new experience to me and I'm going to embrace it. Whoop Whoop.

  1. Live it up Wendy! It is travelling to me. Wander off the beaten path though a bit, with safety in mind, so you get a feel for the real world. My favorite thing to do in your foregin land was to find the most local coffee spot, and DD and I grabbed a coffee and juice, and spent a quiet 30 minutes reading and people watching. Eat a meal or snack where the locals do. Have a ball!

  2. Only been to Mexico once on a day trip from Palm Springs. The area we drove through was horrible, we never got out of the car and were glad to get back to the USA. However, I'm told there are wonderful parts and I'm sure you will have a great time, look forward to hearing about it.
